Our house is part of the little village of Le Rouret, about 10 kms from Grasse and 25 kms from Nice or Cannes and the beaches of the Mediterranean. Grasse has a pleasant old-fashioned air about it and some excellent restaurants. It has long been famous for making perfumes and the fields of flowers that are used to make the essences are a lovely sight when they are in bloom. Monaco is 45 kms from here.
