We are centrally placed in the Ariege Pyrenees within 11/4 hour drive from Toulouse, 25 min. from Foix and 15 min from Tarascon, offering you many possibilities for cultural excursions or sporting activities.

Chez Arran is a spacious old farmhouse in Barry d’en Bas, Ornolac, with gardens, relaxing pool and stunning views. It includes Apartment Lézard (Sleeps 2/4. 1 Bedroom ) and Maison La Montagne (Sleeps 4/6. 2 Bedrooms) Two-thousand-metre Pyrenean peaks rise above the village in a region rich in fascinating Cathar culture, Romanesque castles, impressive show caves and inexhaustible history. There is much on offer for anyone who enjoys hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, cycling, canoeing, caving, fishing, skiing, snow shoeing and dog-sledging – all within ten to twenty minutes of us. Nearby Thermal spas offer the perfect chance to relax. On site we have a large number of guidebooks, maps and local info to help you get the most from your stay. The is plenty for kids, including a prehistoric park, wolf park, llama farm and lakes with sandy beaches for swimming. Local markets at Tarascon and Les Cabannes offer a great chance to sample local produce and crafts. Laytoure is an ariegeoise farmhouse dating from 1736 and offers three large comfortable rooms and can accommodate up to 11 people. Situated only 8kms from Pamiers, Laytoure is near the small village of St Victor Rouzaud and is less than one hour from both the airports of Toulouse and Carcassonne and only 50 minutes from the ski slopes.
