Nearby Thermal spas offer the perfect chance to relax. On site we have a large number of guidebooks, maps and local info to help you get the most from your stay. The is plenty for kids, including a prehistoric park, wolf park, llama farm and lakes with sandy beaches for swimming. Local markets at Tarascon and Les Cabannes offer a great chance to sample local produce and crafts. We are centrally placed in the Ariege Pyrenees within 11/4 hour drive from Toulouse, 25 min. from Foix and 15 min from Tarascon, offering you many possibilities for cultural excursions or sporting activities.

The village of Biert is in the heart of the Pyreneen mountains of South West France, in the Department of Ariège, close to the Spanish border. The Ariège, and in particular the mountain valleys of the Couserans, is relatively undeveloped, and in many ways life goes on here just as it has done for centuries. Situated at 600 metres, Biert itself is a traditional mountain village in the Arac valley, between St Girons and Massat, and offers both summer and winter activity holidays with many local places of interest to visit.
