We welcome you in our recent house located in a nice alsacien village near the well known city of Obernai.

Our gîte is an imaginative conversion of a barn and hayloft dating back to 1716; semi-detached and set on a pretty village street, it has a rear terrace and garden looking on to the village and mountains. The wooded mountains of the Parc Régional des Ballons des Vosges; the Route du Vin with its string of enchanting Alsatian villages nestled in vineyards; magnificent 15th-16th century quarters of Colmar; Sélestat and 12th-century church and ancient mansions; the Stork Nature Reserve (Parc des Cigognes); Strasbourg 37Kms away; the German border only 25km away. Careful restoration and tasteful arrangement of furnishings have created an exceptionally inviting interior. Well-kept furniture, handmade kitchen units and an open fireplace add to the comfortable 'home from home' ambience. A huge, arched window, lofty ceiling and galleried landing give a light and airy feel to the very spacious ground floor. From the south-east facing terrace, pleasing views extend over the attractive sloping garden (shared with the very welcoming owners next door) across the village to wooded hills. Accommodation: ground floor: living/dining room with recessed kitchen area, shower room, separate w.c. First floor: 2 double-bedded rooms, one with 1 set of bunk beds, cot.

Lodging in a small detached house in edge of Mutzig village, 25mins from Strasbourg (car or train), near the wine road and at the foot of the Vosges. This lodging, established in an orchard, is equipped for comfortable holidays for a couple with 1 or 2 children in any season. It is an ideal starting point to visit Strasbourg and the villages of Alsace or to walk in the Vosges
