Welcome to Les Agathes, a detached villa set in more than 2 hectares (5 acres) of private grounds. If you are looking for a relaxing stay in Provence, please have a look at what we can offer you. Les Agathes is the old French name for ‘Marbles’ and refers to the circular window above the entrance door that is filled with glass marbles. Conveniently located 3 kilometres (1.9 miles) from the centre of Salon de Provence, and within easy reach of Avignon, Aix, Nimes, Arles and Marseille, Les Agathes is close enough for you to enjoy the facilities on offer in the nearby towns and cities, whilst at the same time benefiting from the peace and quiet of its countryside location. Unlike many other Chambre d’Hôtes and Table d’Hôtes, we only provide one double room so you will not share the grounds, villa or pool with other people except ourselves, thus ensuring a peaceful and private stay. We are fully registered, inspected and insured for the business.

The Bastide des Cardelines is located at : 25km away from Avignon and its famous festival, 12km away from l’Isle sur la Sorgues and its Antiques market but also Gordes, and all the small villages St Remy de Provence, The Alpilles, the Camargue Aix en Provence… Guest meals upon reservation on the evening (some nights).

Our residence stands in the heart of the luberon nature reserve, between ménerbes and bonnieux, at 500 meters of the marquis de sade's castle and lacoste village. On enclosed parck planted with trees, surrounded with drystone walls and lavanders, you will be welcome in our provençal country house of character. set up in dominant place, facing the luberon, you will appreciate the warm provençal atmosphere, where antique tools objects and bring back the peasant's life of yesterday.
