We are in the Poitou-Charentes region and more particularly in the Charente Maritime district. We invite you to visit our beautiful county in the South-West of France, near the Atlantic ocean. We benefit from an oceanic climate: genial in winter and not too hot in summer. The amount of sun is the best of the Atlantic coast.

Each room has an ensuite shower room, wc, towels, satellite television, armchairs and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a terrace with tables, chairs and sun loungers around the pool for its guests. Approached by a private drive lined with lavendar bushes, enter through the electric gates and you will find a peaceful haven to relax in the tranquility of the gardens. Karen will be happy to prepare you a private candlelit dinner at her elegant dining room table or out on the terrace. Le Four a Pain is 5 minutes from junction 34 of the A10 autoroute giving you easy access to discover the delights and architecture of this region. It is only 45 minutes from the lovely beaches at Royan, La Rochelle, Ile d'Orleron and Ile de Re and 15 minutes from the vinyards of Cognac and Saintes.

Chez Gaston The house, built at the turn of the last century, is a typical Maison d'Maitre, with large airy rooms, high ceilings and a grand central staircase. Staying here is like stepping back in time to a much earlier era of servants and carriages.
