Domaine la Fontaine is situated at the edge of a small village, in a peaceful area, there's the (heated) swimming pool terrace with an impressive view over a large valley, where one can enjoy the things that make life worthwhile. 5 fully renovated rooms, each with individual bathroom, tasteful furnishings, in a charming 19th century Charentaise House. For our B&B-guests we offer a cosy lounge (TV, fireplace, piano etc.) for common use. 4 convivial cottages with bedroom, bathroom, living room, TV and fully equipped kitchen. For all guests: a large garden with picnic tables and BBQ, heated pool, parking, free WiFi.

Here we offer 4 gîtes (holiday homes) and 5 B&B-rooms in an 19th century, charentaise house. Soubran is a small village with all basic services, including a bakery, even a library, post office and a small grocery store. A few times a week we'll offer dinner at our table and you will be invited to join. The focus is on fresh regional products, including fish from the Atlantic Ocean, Charentais melon from a village nearby and great wine from the local winery.

Chateau Bavolier is an 18th century Louis XVI chateau with a peaceful setting at the edge of a village on 5 acres of land. Perfect for a romantic break - where else can you pay B&B rates to sleep in a four poster bed under a chandelier? We only rent two rooms, making it perfect for those wanting calm and seclusion. We welcome children - and can provide a playground, children's pool and great adventures playing in the grounds. Convenient for Bordeaux to as a stop off for those driving to South France or Spain.

The property is an elegant town house, built about the time of the French Revolution. It was added to in the 1930's by the Town Notaire who lived here with his family for most of the 20th century. The present owners have carefully restored and refreshed the house whilst installing modern comforts and facilities. As well as breakfast, dinner is also available on request, served with style in the 18th century Dining Room. The Salon is available for guests to enjoy as is a beautiful terraced garden. The town of Barbezieux has many attractions and is an ideal centre from which to explore Charente and the nearby coast.

Situated in the heart of Gemozac between Saintes and Royan and just 6Kms from the A10 (Pons Exit), our bed and breakfast accommodation is ideally situated either as an overnight stop or as a centre from which to explore the delights of the Charente Maritime – the vineyards, the long beaches of the Cote Sauvage, the unique Romanesque churches; the wildlife of the Gironde Estuary and, of course, those celebrated ‘duettistes’ Pineau and Cognac.
