Situated in the town centre, within the old city walls of Parthenay, I offer one first-floor room with ensuite shower and WC, looking out over the lovely walled garden where you can hear the peaceful sound of a little waterfall, for 40 euros for two people, or, a 2 bedroomed appartment with 90 square metres of total floor space, including lounge, bathroom and corner kitchen from 65 euros for four people. Weekly rentel in available from 250 euros. Breakfast is included, and will be served on the terrace, weather permitting. The location is very quiet, and is a good starting point for numerous walks. The region offers a wealth of attractions for those interested in roman art, and for all who appreciate nature. Evening meals are available on request at 15 euros per person, using seasonal produce, mainly organic. We aim to provide a warm family atmosphere for our guests.

Chambres d'hotes de Boussais is an elegant 19th century country manor house with a large swimming pool offering spacious double and triple ensuite rooms for bed and breakfast 60 euros per night for 2 people. The Voltaire is situated on the edge of the pretty medieval village of Airvault, in the heart of the Poitou Charentes countryside. Here Marc & Jo offer a warm welcome to their 19th century manor home, with its 5 individually designed double & twin en-suite bedrooms. Breakfast is served in either the dining room or walled garden (weather permitting), & evening meals, using locally sourced ingredients, are available upon request. Being in the north of the Poitou Charentes region, it is less than 60km south of Saumur in the Loire Valley, making the areas many chateaux & vineyards within easy reach. The Anjou vineyards and those of the lesser known but award winning Haut Poitou region are also close by. There are many easily accessible attractions & days out to suit all tastes & requirements, including the theme parks of Futuroscope & Puy du Fou. Ideally positioned for holidays, house hunters & stopovers.

On the first floor of our fermette we have a large guestroom with bathroom and a small kitchen. Situated in the sloping landscape of the Gatine in the department Deux-Sèvres we are surrounded by the calm and beauty of the French countryside. This region is one of the sunniest of France. In this countryside you can cycle or make beautiful walks (maps are available) For the fishers amongst you there is the Pescalis nearby, Europe’s first fish complex. Near the camping is an 18-hole golf-course with a superb castle only a 20 min drive. on our site we have a pitch-and-putt.
