This region of France is truly beautiful it is the second hottest region so we have those lovely long hot summers to relax an enjoy the local wines and food. We have English Sky T.V in all our suites and wifi connection This is the ideal area for a short break or a long relaxing holiday with the beautiful coastline around 95k away, theme parks, fishing, golf, go-karting, a choice of zoo's and so much more. Situated a few miles south of the Saumur and the Loire valley between the market towns of Thouars and Loudun. Only a 4 hour drive from the port of Dieppe or 1 hour from Tours & Poitiers airports. La Grande Maison is situated in 3 acres of wooded grounds on the river Dive with easy access to Puy du Fou, Futurescope and the famous wine regions of the Loire Valley.

An 18th century beamed farmhouse set in an acre of gardens, welcomes you to come and enjoy the Anjou region with its many attractions. We are close to the lovely town of Montreuil Bellay with its charming chateau and river Thouet. Our farmhouse offers guests a choice of accomodation; our chambres d'hotes offers two large ensuite bedrooms and a fully equipped two bedroom gite to accomodate upto 5 persons plus a enfant.

Chambres d'hotes de Boussais is an elegant 19th century country manor house with a large swimming pool offering spacious double and triple ensuite rooms for bed and breakfast 60 euros per night for 2 people. The Voltaire is situated on the edge of the pretty medieval village of Airvault, in the heart of the Poitou Charentes countryside. Here Marc & Jo offer a warm welcome to their 19th century manor home, with its 5 individually designed double & twin en-suite bedrooms. Breakfast is served in either the dining room or walled garden (weather permitting), & evening meals, using locally sourced ingredients, are available upon request. Being in the north of the Poitou Charentes region, it is less than 60km south of Saumur in the Loire Valley, making the areas many chateaux & vineyards within easy reach. The Anjou vineyards and those of the lesser known but award winning Haut Poitou region are also close by. There are many easily accessible attractions & days out to suit all tastes & requirements, including the theme parks of Futuroscope & Puy du Fou. Ideally positioned for holidays, house hunters & stopovers.
