The Trémières farm, high fine of XVIe and restored recently, offers its charm of formerly and its comfort of today. The property is composed of a great kitchen, dining room, 6 rooms (one of them, very large, has a chimney, a corner-living room and a private bathroom), 3 bathrooms and a shower. The Maisonnette (dependence) have a large living with dining area, kitchen, living room, room and bathroom ensuring its independence. The private swimming pool is within a landscape garden. 8 accepted people.

Chambre d'hôtes Ancienne Gendarmerie is situated in Cadouin, a small medieval village in the midst of La Dordogne. All our bedrooms have direct access to private bathrooms/toilets. Room “Tournesol” (Sunflower) and “Coquelicot” (Poppy) on the first floor, are jointly suitable for a family with one or two children. However, they are extremely adequately arranged to be rented separately, as well. The room “Iris” (Iris), which is situated on the ground floor, is a spacious room with an en-suite bathroom where you can use a bath, a separate shower, toilet and bidet. The room "Pivoine" (Peony), also situated on the ground floor, is a large room. Cadouin, the village where we have been living since 1 May 2005, lies in the Dordogne department, also known as Le Périgord, of which Perigueux is the capital. The department has been divided in four areas, namely Périgord Vert (capital Nontron), Périgord Blanc (capital Perigueux), Périgord Pourpre (capital Bergerac) and Périgord Noir (capital Sarlat). In this last area, in the south east, you will find Cadouin, approximately 40 km distance of Bergerac, Perigueux and Sarlat. The Périgord Noir is characterised by many castles, medieval villages, caves with frescoes, engravings, monoliths, stalagmites and vestiges of the way of life of people from prehistoric times, the river the Dordogne, the medieval villages, the picturesque boroughs, several markets (each day in a different village), many restaurants and the local gastronomically phenomena, the foie gras, cêpes (a variety of mushrooms) and its rare truffles (also known as the black diamonds).

A garden and a private terrace give you access to the bedrooms throught the passing of the ancient rempart of the medieval city. Grounfloor self-contained entrance, no staircase to have access to the bedroom.
