You will find this house in the small mediaeval town of Le Dorat in a quiet region of Limoges. La maison du Musicaire is the private residence of the Dutch conductor Wim Baarens who left his position as artistic leader of the Netherlands Radio Chamber Orchestra 20 Years ago to start a new musical life in south western France. The interior of the house dating from 1774 has been restored over the last 4 years under the supervision of the architect responsible for the French National Monuments. All the inside walls are decorated with lime and natural colours which give the interior of the house a very warm smooth and velvet character.

Welcome to L'Hirondelle-du-Lac Chambres d'Hôtes, a charming guest house nestling at the edge of the beautiful Peyrat-le-Château lake in the heart of the Limousin, in the area known as 'the land of Mountains and Dams' (Pays des Monts et Barrages), some 45 minutes by car from Limoges.

This stunning 19th century "maison bourgeoise" has been tastefully and sensitively restored maintaining many of it's outstanding original features such as marble fireplaces, ornate ceilings and oak parquet floors. Rooms combine the opulence of traditional french fabrics and chandeliers together with the luxury of modern bathrooms.

Situated in the green countryside of the French Limousin region La Musardière, converted barn featuring a large stone fireplace and a mezzanine, offers five guest rooms with en-suite shower rooms. Opened from Easter to September.

Maison Bellachonne is a large town house situated in the centre of the town of Bellac, Haute-Vienne in the Limousin region of France. It is easy to find and is well placed in this small but busy Limousin town. Free parking in front of the house.

Jan & Richard warmly welcome you to their 'chambres d'hôtes' in a green, peaceful and quiet location. They offer 4 rooms (2 doubles and 2 family rooms for four) on the ground floor of their converted barn, and a fifth double room on the first floor in the main house. All bedrooms have an en-suite shower room and WC. Richard, a former head chef, invites you to join him, Jan and other guests at their 'table d'hôte' for a mouth-watering four-course meal, based on classical dishes and freshly prepared from seasonal, local ingredients where possible.
