Three 3-bedroomed 17th century farmhouses situated in a quiet hamlet surrounded by unspoilt countryside, in one of the most stunning locations in the Charente. Each property can be rented nightly, weekly or monthly. The properties have their own dishwasher, DVD player and terrace with garden furniture and barbecue area. Situated 5 minutes from Confolens, in the Charente-Limousine. and within easy reach of Poitiers, Limoges and Angouleme, this area is perfect for those who have dreamed of finding a holiday which offers the freedom to live the French way of life in one of the most beautiful and sunniest regions of France.

Built in 1835 with gardens overlooking the 10 x 5m pool and childrens' play area. A delightful B&B with a Grand Double and 3 family suites, all with TV/DVD and en suite bathrooms.

Situated in a quiet backwater of the village of Mézières-sur-Issoire, with Bellac and Limoges to the east and Confolens and Angoulême (in the Charente) to the west, Les Hirondelles is set in large enclosed gardens with private swimming pool. Our lovely renovated Farm from 1795 has 3 apartments. 2 Of these apartments use our comfortable “garden house” for breakfast, lunch and diner and the cooking of course. Around the swimming pool, renovated in 2007, we have enough places to sit or to relax in the hang mats. You can also look for all kinds of fruit as there are berries, peaches, brambles and even nuts to be found. Also we several toys for the kids and they can also play table tennis. A few times per week we cook a lovely 3 course dinner. If you want to excersise, this is also the place to be. As well as for the mountainbike as the hiking fans we have plenty of trails around Le Petit Mas d’Ile. De GR48 and the “Pays de Mandragore” cross Confolens, the place where you can join in August the famous international dance and music festival and also the place to find all the shops you might need during your stay, and this only 3 km away from Le Petit Mas d’ile Do you want to know more?
