In our home, at the edge of the village, we offer a small suite for 3 persons (option 6) with driveway, it consists of 2 parts: one (or two) bedroom and a small living room, a bathroom and a separate toilet . The whole is pleasant and comfortable. You can breakfast on the terrace in the garden (with unobstructed view altogether exceptional), or at the family table.

Daniel Chotard has created and built many different opera backgrounds and; therefore, has developed many different technical skills, which he would love share and teach to other artists.You can learn during a course or individual lessons, the art of welding or the use of special tools. We should mention in connection with the studio use, that all materials used or the worn-out parts of tools used must be paid for. For example, lime- discs or gas; likewise, the materials which you use for your project. Naturally, you may bring your own personal tools and materials along. Incase you require special materials for your project, let us know in advance, and we can order them for you. That way, they will be waiting for you, when you arrive.

The house has been newly restored to provide superb, comfortable accommodation in a peaceful setting surrounded by rolling countryside of vineyards interspersed with fairy tale Chateaux. The property is situated in the small hamlet of Cabrerolles ( which loosely translates as the home of frolicking lambs ), 10 km north of Béziers with easy access from both the A 75 and A 9 motorways. The Mediterranean coast is only a 30 minutes drive away. The house is set in its own grounds with a beautiful mature, established garden.

Laverune is a small village with a château, a museum, medieval remnants, a park and a playground, a gymnasium, tennis courts, football grounds, and equestrian centres. About five minutes walk to the countryside, bordered with vineyards…where you meet bulls, horses, pheasants, cocks, ducks and the like …to the background music of birds…or crickets! About ten minutes drive to Montpellier, a medieval town and university centre, famous for medical and agricultural institutions, yearly festivals (Printemps des comédiens, Festival de Radio France, Festival de danses, Festival de films méditerranéens…). About 15 minutes drive to the beaches, and just a bit more, to sea ports like Sète, resorts like Balaruc-les-Bains... To get here, leave the A9 and follow the sign to St Jean de Vedas centre, then to Laverune. Or, from the A75, follow the sign to Montpellier, then to Laverune. A few metres from the roundabout, heading towards the village, turn right (rue des aires), then left (impasse du vieux cyprés). Park car on the impasse or on the driveway. Enjoy the pleasant garden with a fresh breeze in summer under the shade of the old cypress trees or by the fishpond. Upstairs reserved for guests (fully air-conditioned, no smoking area, no pets allowed): dining-room/chimney corner; living room/study (with sofa-bed for 1); bathroom (with toilet and shower); bedroom for 2 (with balcony overlooking old village rooftops and, at a distance, the medieval church).
