In 2002 Joan and Anders Abrahamssoncame almost by accident to Olargues, at the foot of the Espinouse mountains about halfway between Toulouse and Montpellier, and found what they'd left their native Denmark to search for: somewhere to turn into a restaurant, somewhere to apply all the food-trade expertise for which they were well-known in Denmark, above all somewhere to make people happy. The village of Quarante lies on the border of Hérault and Aude, near the Canal du Midi, within half an hour drive from the sea and, three quarters of an hour from Haut Lanquedoc, Salvetat, Avene. Béziers Airport at 30 Kms. Carcassonne airport at 50 Kms Béziers Train station at 24 Kms Narbonne train station at 20 Kms. By road, take the motorway A9 , exit 36 Béziers Ouest direction St Pons through A-road 112 , at Puisserguier take direction Capestang then Quarante. La Sorga de Vida, our guest house is situated in the heart of the village, on a bend of side street to the right of the town hall. You will enjoy the charm and comfort of our three bedrooms individually designed to focus on the different themes of the surrounding area. A living-room is also available to enjoy your leisure. « La Vigneronne magnificent spacious bedroom of 35 m2 in the shade of the surrounding vineyards, with a bed of 180 cms for your comfort, with its own bathroom toilets. Situated on a hill surrounded by the vineyards of Languedoc Roussillon, the largest wine-producing region in the world, and with views south to the Pyrenees and north to the ‘Montagne Noire’. Quarante is 20mins by car to Beziers, Narbonne and St Chinian. The Canal du Midi is a short walk or bicycle ride away. 'La Tour' is situated in the medieval centre of the village of Argeliers in Aude. The tower itself is 11th century housing its' original stone spiral staircase leading to the guest rooms. At the very top is a library/reading room specifically for your use. Meals will be served either outside on the terrace or in the large farmhouse type kitchen, depending on the weather.La Tour is newly renovated with six individual guest rooms. The main building including all bedrooms is 16th century and as many original features have been preserved as possible.

The interior offers a kitchenette, bathroom (shower) as well as a zen-inspired bedroom and living space. Ideal for 2 people and the living area is also equipped with a sofa bed, just in case.
