On accède à l'île par un pont et à notre maison par un chemin qui dessert 6 autres maisons. La notre, orientée Sud, est la dernière au bout de ce chemin qui mène au fleuve. Notre maison, en parti sur pilotis avec sa terrasse surélevée, regarde la Loire à 30 mètres de là. Nous avons restauré cette maison dans une démarche environnementale écologiqique. Nos chambres sont les premières chambres d'hôtes a être certifiées ECOLABEL EUROPEEN (panneaux photovoltaïques sur le toit, produits du petits déjeuners bio, ampoules basse tension etc...)
