La Chantalière is an old farm completely rebuilt between 2002 and 2005 up to a high standard while respecting the authenticity of the local stone lime repointed and the old wood. The farm is composed of 3 buildings intercomuncating plus the stables. The oldest building where they used to store the barrels of cider and calvados is completely reserved for our guest. On the grand floor all in stone there is one bedroom and a separate living room with independant entrance. We are located in a little hamlet 5 km from Portbail beach and 6 km from the famous searesort of Barneville-Carteret. The exceptional micro clima of the North West coast of the cotentin peninsula alowed us in 2002 to start a subtropical garden with plenty of plants from Australia, Sud-América and Africa.

La Beauconniere is a beautiful old former dairy farm consisiting of two large farmhouses and five and a half hectares of old trees and fields set in the pastoral heart of Normandy. The two houses sit on opposite sides of the courtyard and one is reserved exclusively for the guests. The house was built in the 15th century and is full of character and charm. There are five beautiful en-suite rooms, including two suites. Table d'hotes dining is offered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and there are many fine and casual dining choices nearby. There is on-site horse and pony riding available on perfectly peaceful country lanes.
