Christine and François have restored their big and welcoming house, which is in the heart of the historic town of Ardres, close to Calais and within easy reach of the ferries and the Tunnel. The tasteful decoration, the welcome given by Christine, the big garden and the closeness of the restaurants and the centre of the town, make this a ideal place for a stay and a place to return to frequently. In the town centre, we are located just after the church. Leave the square with cobblestones on your left, drive along the church, between the restaurant “Le François 1er” and the church. . We are located just on the first corner on your right.

This superb hide-away, in the middle of the countryside, yet only 3 miles from the beach, consists of four individually themed bedrooms each with its own television and en-suite bath or shower. All rooms are centrally heated, and the generous breakfast is served in the spacious living room in front of a roaring open fire. There is also a living room, library, games, tea and coffee making facilities.Outside are an off-road parking area, and a garden with farm animals to enchant young and old a like.
