Our friendly chambre d'hôtes can be found in the market town of Arlanc in a 'maison de bourg' townhouse full of character which offers a quiet oasis with classical light and airy rooms decorated with style. We are situated in the Parc Régional Livradois-Forez in the heart of the Auvergne and are ideally placed for discovering the chateaux, churches and towns in the area as well as enjoying the beautiful, tranquil countryside . Au Cent Neuf is not a hotel but a 'home from home' where every guest is unique and the service is friendly. Relax in our walled garden and enjoy a glass of wine, dine with us and savour the products of our garden and of the region.

In the heart of the mounts of Forez and of Auvergne, within a site and a protected area, the mill of Nouara is the oldest manufactures paper maitres of XIVème centuries (1305). Near the last mill with paper in activity, the historical Museum of Richard de Bas, the mill of Nouara is on the footpath of the paper makers

In the middle of the “Parc Naturel Livradois Forez” situated at a height of more than 1000 m. you will find the small guest house (auberge) “La Fontaine des Thiolles”. For those of you who are lovers of nature and tranquillity, you will delight in the magnificent forests, the chorus of birds, the babbling streams, the cracking branches underfoot, while waiting for an exciting glimpse of a fox, deer or wild boar ……… The surroundings offer the walker and cross country cyclists great possibilities. Swimming, horse riding, tennis and snow shoe tracking are possible in the near surroundings of Saint Germain l’Herm. The auberge offers 5 double bedrooms, simple and comfortable. There is a large lounge with a wonderful traditional open fireplace

You can find our charming 'Chambres d'hôtes' and Gîte about 14 km from Ambert, between Saint-Amant-Roche-Savine and Grandval (D37). Grandval is a small authentic village in the Auvergne, in the department "Puy de Dome" nr. 63.
