For anyone who loves exploring antique shops, the tiny village of Châteauneuf in the Brionnais should not be missed. In the handful of streets which make up the village, who knows what treasures are to be found? We have recently transformed the old gendarmerie on the edge of the village into a four bedroomed chambres d’hôte. Upstairs there is a large family room sleeping four to five; a double bedded room with an extra single; and a twin bedded room. On the ground floor there is a double room. All are light and spacious, each with new shower room en suite. The garden provides a lovely place to relax after a day out in the Burgundy countryside

In the French region of “Saone-et-Loire” – 300 kilometers south east of Paris – we lost our hearts to ‘Savilly’, a 17/19 century chateau. It is situated in the south of Burgundy (famous for its wines) where hills reach up to 950 m. A long time ago the Celts already had a settlement here. The inhabitants of this region are very friendly towards travelers, and charming villages are found amidst green hills. This is also a region with a rich history of which a number of old buildings and monuments bear witness. Here we worked to transform the castle which lies in the rolling countryside of the “Parc Naturel du Morvan” into a ‘bed and breakfast of charm’ with 5 rooms, all in a modern “chateau” style. We look forward to receiving you as our guest.

We offer 4 large bedrooms each with en suite bathroom and toilet, for 2/4 people in a sixteenth century farmhouse. It once belonged to the famous “hospices de Beaune”, in the famous wine growing area of the “Côte d’Or”.

The Gîte la Fontaine is a farmhouse dating back to 1840, which has been completely refurbished as a guesthouse. We have several double rooms with ensuite shower and toilets.

Boussal is situated in the heart of Burgundy and is in the most southern point of the Morvan Regional Park. The three hundred year old farmhouse is situated at the end of a small country road, at the base of a wooded hillside.
