Welcome to the Domaine des Gendalis, which in Provencal means "people from other places". Maybe that means you, too. The property has been in our familly for 3 generations of wine growers.

This 19th century house was completely restored in 2001 and transformed into a charming bed & breakfast. Le Clos du Rempart is located right in the heart of Avignon old town, few minutes walking from the Popes' Palace and the famous Pont d'Avignon. Around its pretty patio, 2 comfortable guest rooms with A/C and private bath, each in a particular style. A flat/self catering apartment is also available for vacation rental in Provence.

Old bare stonework rules the scene, big arched openings have become multi-paned dining windows, a stone fire burns immense logs in winter, and all is set around a pretty part-sheltered courtyard.
