La Charmante is a charming and friendly guest house set in the pretty village of Albine situated at the foot of the Black Mountain, bordering Languedoc-Roussillon in the south of France.

Delightfully typical of this enchanting region, it's the perfect place to relax during the long, balmy summers or explore the incredible natural scenery in the colourful spring or autumn.

A short walk from the house of about twenty minutes and you find a lovely swimming and fishing lake. There's a play park for younger children and an excellent snack-bar serving anything from sandwiches and beer to a full three-course dinner with wine. They have a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake which stays open everyday in summer. Our accommodation sleeps up to 12 people in 5 separate rooms, one double, one twin and two family room. There's a wealth of outdoor pursuits for the hyper-active. Yet for those of a more leisurely nature, captivating walks in the natural forests are close by. The area has countless other diversions full of local character where you can while away those precious holiday moments in perfect bliss. [more]
