In Antraïgues-sur-Volane (500 inhabitants), we started a B&B in an ancient chestnut farm house. The guest rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Needless to say that each room has its private bathroom. If you stay with us, you will not be isolated in the Ardèchois countryside but you will have the opportunity to enjoy daily live in the close by traditional French village while at the same time experiencing rural live around our house.

Directions

From the north: take on Motorway A7 exit n° 16 ‘Loriol’. From the south: take on Motorway A7 exit n° 18 ‘Montelimar sud’. It takes about one hour to drive via Aubenas and Vals-les-Bains to Antraigues.
Once you arrive at Antraigues
Follow the sign ‘Centre Bourg” (very sharp bend to the right). Turn left at VIVAL supermarket and follow the road down for about 500 m. Than follow ‘toutes directions’ (again a very sharp bend to the right) and follow a narrow road. Turn left after the first house. You cross a little river and directly after you turn right and follow the sign “l’Angelot 500 m”.
There is parking space behind the garage.
If you arrive by tgv
From London St. Pancras via Paris it takes 6 hours to Valence . At this tgv station one can easily rent a car. It takes 1 hour 30 minutes to Antraigues.
From the tgv station you can also take a bus to Aubenas where we will pick you up for the 15 minute drive to l’Angelot.
By air
The airports of Lyon (British Midland), Nîmes (Ryan Air from Luton ), Grénoble (Ryan Air from Stansted) are all at about 2 hours driving from Antraigues. You can rent a car at every airport but if you wish we will pick you up.

Wonderful place to stay in beautiful Ardeche 5 out of 5 stars

We enjoyed a few restful days at l'Angelot where we were welcomed by Ilse and Alphonse. We can recommend Ilse's cooking, and on other nights, there are restaurants in Antraigues (walking distance, but with climbs) or a short drive away in Vals les Bains. We very much enjoyed dinner at l'Adresse! Lovely area for hiking, some of them starting straight from the house. Wonderful pool for cooling off afterwards..
