Montmiral

Complete Property Description:

Our (former) farm lies in a hilly countryside, where the eyes slowly wander into the distance, until they meet the 2400 meter high massif of the Vercors, the beginning of the Alps. By car you get there in about 40 minutes. This large nature reserve with its steep lime rocks and spectacular gorges is ideal for all who love nature, such as hikers, climbers, botanists, speleologists or normal visitors of caves. Motor cyclists like the curves of the roads to the passes.

Three guest rooms, each with its own bathroom, are available on our former farm.
Two of them lie side on the former hay loft. You enter them from a covered gallery, which also offers comfortable seats:

-- the “Yellow Room” for 2 – 4 persons
-- the “Galet Room” for 2 – 4 persons

A separate building with its own terrace is
-- the “Small Stable” for 2 persons.

All rooms have a separate, direct entrance.
The furniture is either old or was made by Matthias himself.
For our youngest guests we willingly install a cot.
There are possibilities to park your motor cycle under a roof

The day begins with a copious, varied breakfast, with home-made bread and jam, eggs of our happy hens …

In the evening, we have the French “table d’hôte”. Together we take an aperitif and sit down at our long table for a meal with four courses: hors d’œuvre, main dish (vegetarian, if want), cheese, and desert. To finish the meal, but not the evening, we serve coffee or tea. The wine of our region is also included in the price. Thus everything is offered for some hours in a convivial atmosphere.
