Puyloubier

Complete Property Description:

The guestroom :
In the 19th century, the farmer's good sense had ordered a well and a paved threshing zone. A pigeon house was added in the 20th for good measure. In this lovely cottage is established an ever so romantic guestroom.
The quietness and the view, along with the charm and comfort of this unique guestroom are sought by connoisseurs who appreciate at the Chapelet Estate an authentic Provence.
Respectful of the original floorplan of the pigeonhouse, the bedroom kept its long, narrow shape, with a kingsize bed placed in a recess. The rest of the furniture is matching comfortably and harmoniously the bucolic surroundings. Welcome tray, XXL towels, pool towels, hairdryer are among the various pleasures thoughtfully provided.
Puyloubier, the village :
Steep narrow streets, shady squares and singing fountains : perched on a rocky spur on the Sainte-Victoire mountain, Puyloubier overlooks the mosaic of vinyards sloping down across the Arc river valley. But one shouldn't be misled by this postcard image, as the village fiercely protects its genuin rural soul, away from Provence beaten tracks. One doesn't come across Puyloubier by chance, but arrives here purposely, with the desire to discover and explore a true Provence.

The Chapelet Estate :
Towards the East side of the village, on a dead end road mislocated by gps navigators, lies a small estate planted with vines and olive trees, the Villa Chapelet. Grapes are taken to the village winery to make its red or rosé AOC Côte de Provence Sainte-Victoire wine. The olives are cold pressed localy to produce an olive oil typical of the Pays d'Aix-en-Provence and pride of the owners.
