Description for Gite

The cottage is conveniently located near a variety of shops, including bakeries, pastry shops, bars, catering, and an Intermarché supermarket. It is also in close proximity to restaurants. With its separate access from the owners' residence, the cottage provides independence from the village life, while still being just a few meters away.

Perfectly situated between the picturesque South Vendée farmland and the stunning coastline, the cottage offers an ideal setting for a relaxing holiday. Guests can enjoy the peaceful countryside and also easily reach the beach within 25 minutes (either at Tranche-sur-Mer or La Faute-sur-Mer). Additionally, the cottage is conveniently situated halfway between two popular attractions: the Puy du Fou theme park and the Marais Poitevin (also known as Green Venice). It is also within driving distance of other notable destinations such as La Rochelle and Les Sables d'Olonne.

The cottage warmly welcomes fishing enthusiasts, hikers, horse riders, and mountain bikers. Golf lovers will find a golf course just 10 km away at The Domangère. The area is also known for its culinary delights and excellent wines, with the Vendée wine trail passing through nearby Mareuil. Additionally, guests can engage in activities such as ULM (ultra-light aircraft flying) as all these options are available near the rental.

In the village of Mareuil, guests can explore even more leisure activities, including walks or canoeing on the river Lay, tennis, mini-golf, volleyball, and bocce.
