Situated in a lovely walled park, this chateau stands at 800m (over 2788 feet) in the North of the Haute Loire, at the centre of a vast granite plateau, and on the southern edge of the beautiful National Livradois Forest Park. It is an ideal place to discover the unspoilt Auvergne with the nearby town the world heritage site of Le Puy en Velay.
Guests here are warmly welcomed. The rooms and large bathrooms have been fully modernised and offer a high standard of comfort. The two suites are useful for families or friends sharing


The climate is characteristically middle mountain, with a surprising variety of landscapes reflecting rural traditions. The fauna is very varied in the gorges and woods. The architectural history is rich, particularly in roman artefacts.

- one large room for 2 people and ensuite, and two suites made up of 2 rooms, each suite with bathroom; perfect for families or friends sharing; one suite can accommodate 4 people and the other 5-6.

Directions: 10km from Craponne or Retournac by the D9, follow St Andre de Chalencon signs, turn left before the garage (sign for Stade), left hand turning and entering village green gates on the left 200m.
We are one hour from St Etienne and an hour and a half from Lyon
