This Château, situated in the heart of the beautiful Bourbonnais countryside, yet it is only five minutes from the town of Montluçon, it is the ideal place to relax and recharge your batteries.


The Château, built on an ancient galloroman site is surrounded on three sides by a moat. The two ancient towers, one round, one square which immerge from the moat are relies of the tall house formerly built on this site.

There are two spacious apartments with king size bed, one of them opens onto its own moat side patio. Beautifully decorated in subtle tones of grey and cream have a large open fire places where, on winter evenings, you may choose to dine by candlelight. Spring and summer offer the opportunity to eat in the flowers filled garden by the side of the moat.The apartments have luxurious ensuite shower rooms.

A little tricky to find but once there it was marvellous. I stayed in the garden room which was delightfully decorated, the breakfast fresh and tasty and Mme Groliere was a charming hostess. Will definitely stay again.
