Description:

Description for B&B:

We offer comfortable and affordable nightly rate rooms in a private house that operates like a Guest House or hostel. Our property consists of three rooms in a traditional terrace, with two bathrooms available. The rooms have a rustic charm with modern amenities, making them suitable for individuals with a musical, artistic, or academic background. Located on a quiet road in a lively area, there are numerous cafes and restaurants nearby. Our property also offers easy access to the city center and all airports, as it is situated near Finsbury Park Tube station in Zone 2. Please note that the rooms are not ensuite, but gowns and towels are provided. One of the rooms has a bathroom located next door. It is important to mention that guests must be out of the property between 10am and 5.00pm every day due to insurance requirements, which can be beneficial for exploring and sightseeing in Zones 1 and 2.

Directions

To get to the airports, you can take the Victoria/Picadilly Lines tube, which is the same line for Stanstead, Gatwick, and Heathrow Airports. Alternatively, you can go to the main station arrivals. Most airports are about 1 hour away, with Stanstead, Luton, and Heathrow being the most direct. From Stanstead Airport, take the Liverpool Street train and get off at Seven Sisters/Tottenham Hale Tube. Finsbury Park is only 1 or 2 stops away from there. From Heathrow, take the Picadilly Line, and from Gatwick, take the Victoria Line. The nearest tube stop to my location is Finsbury Park, which is in zone 2 and about 20 minutes away from the city center. From there, you can take the W7 bus, which will take about 5 to 10 minutes to reach my home, and then it's just a 2 to 3 minute walk. If you have a Travel Card, it will be cheaper for you. When you arrive at Finsbury Park, go upstairs and turn right to the back of the station where the buses are. Wait at the main road for the W7 bus. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach Holly Park, which should take around 5 to 10 minutes or about 3 to 4 stops. Once you get off the bus, go back one road, and you will find my house about halfway down on the left with a light purple door. If you prefer to take a minicab, you can contact HERCULES at 0207 272 6666, or there is a minicab office near the W7 bus stop. The cost for a minicab to the airports is approximately £40-50, and it may be cheaper than taking the train if you have more than one person. Currently, parking is free between 5pm and 9.45am on weekdays. If you need to leave your car between 10am and 2pm and you won't be staying overnight, please request vouchers, which will cost £5 per session. You can also look into the London Pass at londonpass.com for cheaper travel and entrance to sites. Additionally, you can arrange for an Oyster Card in advance.
