For over 50 years, this family house has been a hidden gem, tucked away from the road. Throughout the years, it has been lovingly transformed into a peaceful sanctuary, while still preserving the charm of its old stones and materials. Stephan and Julia warmly invite you to experience their hospitality. You will have the pleasure of enjoying the spacious and tastefully decorated areas at your disposal, whether you choose to relax alone or with your family in one of the five elegant rooms. These rooms include two to three-person accommodations, as well as a double room that can comfortably accommodate four to five individuals, each equipped with showers or a private bath and WC. The simplicity, delicacy, and elegance of the decor will enchant you, from the grand living room with its two fireplaces, to the cozy reading nook and game space, to the music corner featuring a piano and other instruments. During the summer and winter, you can dine in the inviting dining rooms, and there is also an internet room with wifi for your convenience. The large terrace and park beckon you to unwind, and in the summer of 2007, a swimming pool will be added for your enjoyment. Within the estate, you will find a shaded parking area and a covered garage. La Bichonnière is ideally situated near numerous tourist attractions, including Vézelay, the Pontigny Abbey, the Guédélon, Saint Fargeau, and Ratilly castles. Additionally, there is a Park of Adventures nearby, as well as the Colette museum, Saint-Amand en Puisaye known for its pottery, and the Boutissaint Park with its collection of wild animals. For water enthusiasts, the Bourdon Lake offers swimming and various water sports, and you can also embark on a scenic bike ride through the surrounding countryside of Toucy, the birthplace of Pierre Larousse. Beautiful forest hikes and barge trips on the Yonne or the Burgundy Canal are also available, and don't forget to explore the charming cellars and villages of St Bris, Irancy, and Chablis, all located within a 30-kilometer radius of your home away from home.

quel bel endroit!
la maison est superbe, les chambres très jolies et très confortables . Les propriétaires sont charmants et la propriétés extrêmement bien tenue. Une vraie bonne adresse.

La Bichonnière offre un confort raffiné et de bon gout. Rien n'est
laissé au hasard, les maitres de maison règnent sereinement sur tous les
détails qui peuvent faire plaisir.Voici un 4 épis qui fait honneur aux
gites de France.
