Complete Property Description:
Our bed & breakfast Les Cessenades, is situated between Florac and Alès, in the heart of the Cevennes National Park. Our 5 rooms are built in an old farmhouse and are full of character: natural stone walls, ceilings with exposed beams and traditional furniture. Every room has a private bathroom and central heating.
A part of the garden is arranged as little campsite. Under the fruit trees we have created some lovely pitches. Beneath, in the valley, there is a little stream to swim in.
At the back of our property there is an old railway track, which nowadays serves hikers and mountainbikers. We propose bicycle renting and you can borrow maps.
In the morning you can have breakfast with us at our family table, and in the evening we can serve you a nice cevenol menu. Guests on the campsite can also order bread and croissants for breakfast.
Attractions & Facilities
In the neighbourhood you'll find the famous Gorges du Tarn, the Causse Mejean and the Monts Lozère. A very rough and authentique landscape where you can hike and bike. Near our guesthouse there is an old railwaytrack which you can follow and a very nice river to swim in. Town to be visited are Florac, Anduze, St. Jean-du-Gard and a little further Nîmes and Avignon. A trip to the beach is also to be recommended.
