Description for B&B:

Saint-Savournin, a charming French commune in the department of Bouches-du-Rhone, is home to 3,151 residents (as of 2009). Nestled in the beautiful region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, this picturesque village is situated at the eastern edge of the Massif de l'Etoile, between Cadolive and Mimet. The locals, known as Saint-Savournicains and Saint-Savournicaines, enjoy a unique climate due to their geographical location. The village is perched on the northern slope of the Étoile massif, boasting an average altitude of over 440 meters. Consequently, Saint-Savournin experiences a slightly harsher climate compared to neighboring towns such as Aix-en-Provence or Marseille, with afternoon temperatures often remaining below 3 to 5 °C. Additionally, the commune is conveniently located near the national park of Calanques, a mere 14 kilometers away. In terms of accessibility, Saint-Savournin is only 14 kilometers from Aubagne, renowned as the city of Pagnol, and a short 17 kilometers from Aix TGV train station. Furthermore, it is less than 20 kilometers from Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, and Cassis, making it part of a coveted "golden triangle" that contributes to its esteemed reputation.
