Mauvaisin Castle is a mansion of the eighteenth century. This building is typical of Lauragais has breathtaking views of the Pyrenees. A warm and quiet, wooded park houses a vast swimming pool and private tennis, help make a stay at the castle a delicious moment. Stay in one of two spacious rooms and elegant kitchen and enjoy the flavors of our dinner table. For your receptions, elegant reception rooms and bright, with direct access to the park, can accommodate 120 people. The small village of Mauvaisin is located 37 km southwest of Toulouse. You can, in the surrounding countryside, enjoy many sports, games, (riding, mountain biking, quad biking, hot air balloon ...) or cultural (museums, theater, concert hall at 8 km). If you miss the asphalt you will reach the regional capital in less than 40 minutes. Otherwise, the Ariège nearby will open its doors to sample many regional products and discover its cultural and natural treasures.

Attractions & Facilities

Mauvaisin is a charming little village with typical architecture of Lauragais. You will find all the amenities to 8 km (either Nailloux, or Auterive). Many service providers will offer activities: riding, quads, air balloon, canoe ... On Auterive you will also find a theater, a cinema and a contemporary art foundation. You can also stroll on the various weekly markets (Auterive, Mirepoix, Pamier ...)

Directions

The N 20, direction Foix: A Auterive, turn left, direction Villefranche de Lauragais / A61, continue for 8 km on the D622km, then turn right Mauvaisin, continue 1km to the castle you will see when arriving at village. By car: Take the A61 motorway towards Montpellier and 20 km on the highway A66 towards Foix / Andorra 3 km of first release: Nailloux, cross Nailloux continue on D622 direction Auterive 7km, then turn left to continue Mauvaisin 1km to the castle that you will receive upon arrival in the village.
