La Fount offers two beautifully restored traditional stone houses with stunning views of the Pyrenees. La Maison, the first property, features a large private terrace with comfortable garden furniture, original stone walls, wooden beams, and authentic furniture. It also boasts a wood-burning stove for cozy winter holidays. Spread across three levels, the ground floor includes a unique reading room nestled into the mountain, a shower room with a washing machine, and a separate toilet. Ample storage space is also available.

On the first floor of La Maison, guests will find a comfortable kitchen/dining/sitting room equipped with a stereo and a variety of reading material and games. The bedroom on this floor offers great views of the village tower and mountains, along with a walnut double bed and a large single sleigh bed. The top floor features a double bed and an en-suite shower room.

La Grange, the second property, is a spacious two-story building perfect for a romantic retreat. It offers vivid mountain views and a split-level private terrace with its own entrance. The ground floor is split level and features two sofas, a wood-burning stove, a stereo, and an extensive collection of books. The kitchen/diner is equipped with all necessary appliances, including a washing machine. The romantic bedroom on the upper floor boasts a solid oak double bed, a seating area, a vaulted ceiling with wooden beams, and a spacious en-suite with a shower and toilet.

At La Fount, there are no televisions to encourage guests to fully enjoy the surroundings. However, please note that the properties have steps and are not suitable for wheelchairs or individuals with mobility issues. Children are welcome, and a cot can be provided upon request. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

The price for both properties includes electricity, all charges, wood for the stoves, beautiful bed linen (excluding the cot), towels and toiletries, a barbecue, a picnic basket, and a generous starter pack. This ensures that guests can travel light and avoid making stops at shops along the way. Additionally, a few complimentary luxuries are always provided.

Directions

To reach Montoulieu, take junction 13 on N20 towards Andorra, located south of Foix. It is approximately a one-hour drive from Carcassonne and Toulouse airports.
