Near Bordeaux, classified in the UNESCO world heritage and of the Bay of Arcachon. An ideal holiday cottage(shelter) or hosts' room(chamber) for 2 adults and 2 children Gite of 35m ² any comfort

Rental of 5 comfortable gites ( from 2 to 6 persons ) with bedroom(s) on the 1st floor. All gites have a fully equipped kitchen(corner), electrical heating, extra sofa-beds in the living-room, own bathroom with shower and toilet. The gites are in a restored farmhouse with a large garden and swimming pool. Les Messauts lies directly at the bank of the “canal lateral”, a canal with many bridges and locks that runs from the Mediterranean sea ( canal du midi ) to near Bordeaux ( canal latéral ). in an area famous of its vineyards, chateaux, medieval towns, historic monuments, museums and beautiful gardens. A region of music and dance festivals, markets and brocantes. An area for people who love peace with plenty of possibilities in the locality to play golf, cycle, go horse riding or walking, fishing, canoeing and swimming. One must ofcourse visit one of its many vineyards to taste and buy wine. Groups are welcome. English spoken.

The ancient village of Gensac, east of the Gironde department, is a pretty village with cobbled streets where it is good to walk with a magnificent view over the Dureze valley (tributary of the Dordogne). Hikes and excursions can be made several kilometers around the village. The landscape, hilly, consists mostly of vineyards. 10 min drive away, you will find a beautiful lake (La Cadie) surrounded by trees and greenery, around which was constructed a sandy beach for relaxation, sunbathing and swimming.
