Maison Sarcelle is situated in a large garden on a hillside one kilometer outside the charming village of Varages in the Haut Var. There are wonderful views over the Provencal countryside. The house is large with three double bedrooms each with an 'en suite' shower room and wc. There is a large sitting room with a dining area and a very well equipped kitchen. It has a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. Outside there is a swimming pool which is fenced, 9 x 4 metres. The area is quiet but near enough to numerous interesting places to make it a very good center for your holiday . The coast at St Tropez is just over an hour by car as is Aix en Provence, and Marseille. Nice is just over a hour and a half, and Avignon two hours. The Gorge du Verdon and the Lac St Croix is close and so is Cotignac and many other delightful villages. Varages is known for its faeance which it has been producing since the mid 1600's. There is a museum and numerous shops where you can find beautiful pieces. Maison Sarcelle has an apartment on the lower level which is occupied, this has its own entrance and is completely seperate.
