Chasteuil is a tiny 16th century village located at the entrance of the Gorges du Verdon. From its south-facing location, 900 meters high in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, it overlooks the Verdon River below. "Les Gorges du Verdon", The Verdon Canyon, is one of the deepest and most spectacular in Europe. The village has been restored by its inhabitants in the local architectural tradition. The Grand Randonnée number 4, an important and scenic hiking trail, crosses through the village and passes by the foot of the Inn. Soap Handmade Here Les essentiels unique face and body soaps are handcrafted by us in a rainwater and olive oil base. We use only essential oils to gently scent our delicate soaps and moisturizing skin care products. Come and see for yourself.
