Spacious, wooded and green, LE CASTEL ROSE campsite stretches for more than a kilometre along the banks of one of France's most beautiful rivers, the clean and limpid Garden d'Anduze. Respect for nature is an essential feature of this unspoiled site and harmonises with the tranquil pattern of holiday life here. 15 minutes walk (1500 metres) away, lies the pretty town of Anduze. Amongst the many local attractions are our world-famous pottery vases, the "bambouseraie", a bamboo plantation which is unique in Europe, the steam train of the Cevennes, not forgetting all our regional arts and crafts, produce, markets and museums... And in less than an hour, to the north, lie the Cevennes, whose wild spaces impassion all who love walking, mountain hiking or riding... To the south, the Mediterranean and its beaches... How to get here:

From Nîmes or from Pont St Esprit, in the direction of Ales then Anduze. Then towards St Jean du Gard. Signposted 'Camping le Castel Rose', 1500 metres from the centre of Anduze.
