Lovingly restored 18th century farmhouse based in the charming Vienne region of France.

Our charming and quiet « Chambre d’hôtes » are situated in a large property which is surrounded by trees. The property was initially a small fortress built in the XIVth century which was changed to a domestic dwelling in the XVIIth century. It has been lovingly maintained since then.

Welcome to a lovely country hamlet in the sunny Vienne. Ideal for sightseeing, fishing, walking or just relaxing in this beautiful part of France. Stay in an old country house in a rural setting with a choice of three rooms, all with en-suite facilities and use of an above ground swimming pool.

You will stay at the old stable of a well restored traditional farm of Le Poitou. You will find a certain « art of living » in the warm atmosphere of the main room, where old stone and wood gather with harmony.

Le Grand Saule Chambre d’Hote, set in its own private, sunny and tranquil grounds, nestles below the 11th century tower of Moncontour. Situated on the edge of the village of Moncontour, but within walking distance of all amenities including pleasure lake with water sports. In an ancient inn of XVIII ° century restored in the spirit of wood and in stone, located in the middle of a small village typically poitevin, we receive you for night or a longer stay. If you want it you can share our guests' table where the cooking of the land is in honour.

You have a bed at disposition 2 places and 2 beds of 90, a corner cooks equipped, a room of shower with office of toilets and a terrace with living room of garden, without forgetting a barbecue for of possible grilling. You will find the same comfort as to you in a natural and convivial frame.

Bed & breakfast in the village of Charroux in Poitou-Charentes, in a large 19c house in the centre of the village. 3 rooms, each with en suite facilities. Family room available; Cot available; evening meals available if required (tables d'hôtes). Use of courtyards and large garden with woods.
