Chateau Bavolier is an 18th century Louis XVI chateau with a peaceful setting at the edge of a village on 5 acres of land.
Perfect for a romantic break - where else can you pay B&B rates to sleep in a four poster bed under a chandelier? We only rent two rooms, making it perfect for those wanting calm and seclusion.
We welcome children - and can provide a playground, children's pool and great adventures playing in the grounds.
Convenient for Bordeaux to as a stop off for those driving to South France or Spain.

Ann est une hôte merveilleuse, un grand merci pour cet accueil inoubliable, gentillesse et chaleur. Cette grande demeure est superbe, entretenue avec beaucoup d'amour, un sentiment de liberté total.

We are located on the edge of the small village of St Christoly de Blaye. Bordeaux centre is about thirty minutes by car.
Our nearest airport is Bordeaux Merignac. The nearest TGV stop is Libourne (33 kilometres away - Avis car hire available). We are easily accessible from the A10, and a convenient stop off en route to South of France. Plentiful parking.
