Description for B&B:

“The House of Four Seasons», the grand-daughter of the “Les Tilleuls” ( “the Linden-trees” House) which overlooks the property, first saw light in spring 2003.

In a pleasant Jura wood - built structure with that delicious scent and atmosphere typical of chalets. we take a liking to winter by the cosy fireside (the gîte is heated by a granulated-wood burning stove). Behind the fully wood dressed façade, the habitat gathers its colors from spring wild roses and cornflowers, summer dried straw and hay and small ripe autumn fruit. Comfortable furniture much of which is wrought iron, blends with golden or natural coloured drapery. The whole is decorated with care and joy. Each room reflects the soul of a Jura artist.

At the entrance of the path that borders the independent house, you’ll find the wine-grower, who is always open, and who will take great pleasure to have you taste his wines.

While taking your breakfast on the balcony terrace, run your eyes over the Jura vineyards, the castles and the undulating countryside: you have a 180° panorama before you!

Hikers, nature lovers, all is anticipated in this gîte is to accompany you for an appreciative and respectful discovery of the Jura.

To end the day pleasantly, you can ask for a table d’hôtes ( by prior reservation ).

In accord with what the kitchen-garden has to offer, I take great pleasure in preparing savoury local dishes for you. Opt for the classic meal or for the choice dishes announced on the page: Our Pricelist -all washed down with my neighbour’s Côtes du Jura (Jura yellow wine).

To resume: “the House of Four Seasons” ,Self Catering Holiday Gîte and Stopover Gîte, labelled “Gîtes de France-Charmance” 3 ears (of corn) rating, open all year round , situated in the east of France (where the forest predominates), is built in the jura vineyards. This wood-structured house is situated close to exit N° 7 of the A 39 motorway, close to Poligny, Château Chalon and Baumes les Messieurs as well.

Also proximity of the railway station at DOLE (30min).

Everything is done to assure you a charming and gastronomic weekend in the land of AOC ( label certifying origin ) wines.

AOC wines: like Arbois ( the 1st AOC of France in 1936), Château Chalon, l’Etoile Côtes du Jura, the Jura Macvin, the Jura Crémant. The AOC of cheese: Comté, Morbier, Blue of Gex. The Cancoillote is an extra!

Everything is arranged to offer you nature and sport, a relaxing getaway sojourn
