Description:

Description for B&B:

This description is for a charming country house located on the outskirts of Tours. The house boasts an elegant design and overlooks a beautiful wooded park spanning 5000 m2. Two large cedar trees and a delightful pool add to the picturesque setting. The three spacious and comfortable rooms are tastefully decorated, with one being a suite that can accommodate up to five people. Each room has direct access to a small private garden and an indoor swimming pool. The location is perfect for exploring the famous castles of the Loire and the various tourist attractions in Tours and its surrounding region.

These modern cottages offer all the necessary conveniences and provide a peaceful retreat in the Touraine countryside. They are housed in a restored building from the mid-nineteenth century, completed in 2005. The property features a charming flower garden, vineyards, and fruit and nut trees that coexist harmoniously. Guests can immerse themselves in the surrounding wilderness, taking leisurely walks in the park and rediscovering the beauty of nature. The cottages are located just ten minutes away from historic Tours, as well as other small towns, historic villages, and nearby castles in the Loire Valley.

Guests have the option to enjoy table d'hote meals or explore the numerous restaurants in the Touraine region. Picnics are also possible. The area offers a wealth of tourism, cultural, and sports activities, as well as opportunities to explore nature. Touraine wines complement the gourmet meals available in this region, and guests are encouraged to visit the many local vineyards and wineries.

The region is ideal for hiking and cycling, and Beatrice and Patrick, the hosts, are happy to provide guests with maps and recommendations. The accommodations include two bedrooms, with one located upstairs and each capable of accommodating a family of four. Each room has its own private shower and toilet, ensuring privacy for guests. The rooms are furnished with a double bed (160 x 200) and two single beds, with the option of a baby bed if needed.

Additionally, there is a terrace with a patio, as well as amenities like a ping-pong table and children's games such as swings and a slide. Guests also have access to a fridge, microwave, and a computer connected to the internet (ADSL). The room prices start at 70, which includes breakfast. For more information, please contact the hosts.

Review by: Valérie de Genève., Jan 13 2013 11:27PM

Review by: Gilles, Jan 8 2013 11:38PM
