Welcome to L’Orée du Parc – Chambre d’Hôte
Our bed and breakfast is in the village of Montigny sur Aube, on the border of Champagne/Ardennes and Burgundy. 2 rooms are available. Ground floor family room comfortably sleep 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 children. The room has a double bed & a single bed. The upstairs room for 2 adults has a walk- shower. Prices from 75 euros per night continental breakfast and tax included. House speciality - Scottish breakfast, including porridge, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon - and real tea! (7.50 euros supplement)

Description of L'oree du Parc Bed & Breakfast:

We have two bedrooms available, complete with en-suite bathroom. The ground floor room can comfortably sleep 3 adults. The room has a double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed. A cot is also available. The room has air-conditioning, WIFI and hairdryer.

The upstairs room, 2 adults has a large bed (can be made into a twin). A walk-in shower, wet room and a comfortable seating area provide a relaxing spacious room. The room is air-conditioned, has WIFI connection and a hairdryer is also provided.

The local bakery is just a few steps away so if you are up early the bread is still warm! The local delicatessen is in the main square and provides high quality cold meats, terrines, pork cuts and side orders, ideal for picnics. For breakfast you can choose a simple continental or a full Scottish Breakfast- Scottish breakfast 7,50 supplement

The nearest big town is Chatillon sur Seine, with a wide selection of shops, restaurants and cafes, swimming pool and not least the Musee de Vas de Vix. A stunning Bronze age ‘vase’ the largest one of its kind in Europe found in 1953 at Mont Lassois. In 2012 the National Parc ‘entre Champagne-Ardennes et Bourgogne’; the 11th French National Parc will be opened. A diverse mix of flora, fauna, lakes, rivers and valleys, makes it one of the most tranquil places to discover. Cycling and walking routes throughout the region Route de Cremant Le Crémant; the sparkling wine of the region, resembling champagne. Although benefiting from exactly the same geological ‘terroir’, climate and vine types, it can only be called crémant as the vineyards are not situated technically in Champagne.
