Maison Rouma is a large house which occupies a great position beside the bridge at Puy l'eveque, so from the terrace you can enjoy the views across the river and surrounding hills and also of the Medieval town with its houses clustered on t hillside
Description of Maison Rouma Bed & Breakfast:Maison Rouma has 3 guest rooms, on the first floor is'The Blue Room' which has a double bed, single bed and a sofa-bed, making it ideal for a family, this room has its own bathroom, 'though not en-suite on the next floor are 2 more rooms Nikki's Room which s a double bed, and Henry's Room which has twin beds and a sofa-bed both of these rooms have en-suite bathrooms. Downstairs there is a terrace overlooking the view where,weather permitting, breakfast is taken, in case of inclement weather it will be in the dining room
Attractions:In the season it is possible to hire canoes, also bikes, from just across the river, on that side also is a commune swimming pool, tennis courts, a little further away is riding and golf. During the season you will find many fetes and market around the area, there is a fantastic firework display here in August as part of the fete. Cahors is the principal town of the lot and has a lot of history and is worth a visit, as are the bastide towns around the area, there are some lovely walks to take, whether you just want a gentle stroll or something more challenging, you will find one to suit. This is the centre of the Cahors wine area so there are many vineyards to visit and different wines to taste, without haaving to travel very far
