Description:

Description for B&B:

The Castle River stands proudly on the site of a former fortified high camp established by Charlemagne. Gaston de l'Isle constructed this magnificent structure in 1577. Later, in the 19th century, the renowned architect Viollet le Duc undertook its restoration. Nestled atop a hill, the castle offers breathtaking views of the picturesque Dordogne valley and its extensive 59-hectare vineyard. Within the Renaissance wing, five exquisite guest rooms await, each boasting modern en-suite facilities. These rooms have been meticulously adorned with tasteful furnishings and elegant decor, exuding an atmosphere of relaxation, allure, and sophistication.
