Canoeing on the Dordogne River is available six miles away, bicycles can be rented locally to explore the by-ways, and horse trekking is available just a kilometre from the house. Situated on an ancient Pilgrim Route and the site of a former Monastery, Le Duc was reputedly a stopping off place for the Knights Templar.
