Welcome to our three unusual guest rooms in the Anjou area, 8kms from Saumur. Our guest rooms are part of a XIXth Century Tufa building (local lime stone). They are on the ground floor overlooking a peaceful secluded garden, very light with their French windows, and a lovely tiled floor. Modern comfort to be found in the very large bathrooms set in the trogloditic part, that is to say in the rock itself.Private parking is available in the property. A delicious homemade breakfast is served in the large trogloditic area. This area is worlwide known for its troglodytes. On accède à l'île par un pont et à notre maison par un chemin qui dessert 6 autres maisons.
La notre, orientée Sud, est la dernière au bout de ce chemin qui mène au fleuve. Notre maison, en parti sur pilotis avec sa terrasse surélevée, regarde la Loire à 30 mètres de là. Nous avons restauré cette maison dans une démarche environnementale écologiqique.
Nos chambres sont les premières chambres d'hôtes a être certifiées ECOLABEL EUROPEEN (panneaux photovoltaïques sur le toit, produits du petits déjeuners bio, ampoules basse tension etc...)
