Welcome to the Lodging house of the Bargemen, a historical building dating back to the 15th and 18th century, conveniently located just twenty meters from the banks of the Loire River in Chalonnes-sur-Loire. This charming establishment is situated in a UNESCO World Heritage classified territory and offers a warm and authentic experience.

As you explore the property, you will be captivated by the peaceful atmosphere of the garden and terrace, which provide a fantastic view of the Loire River. After undergoing several months of renovation, the Lodging house of the Bargemen is ready to open its doors, boasting a carefully decorated interior that perfectly complements its surroundings.

The main house of the property consists of three guest houses, each uniquely decorated with attention to detail and imagination. Additionally, we offer a renovated holiday cottage, the Boatmen's Shelter, for those seeking a more independent stay.

Conveniently located near various amenities, you can easily walk to a range of restaurants, bars, and markets. The markets in Chalonnes-sur-Loire are particularly notable, with over a hundred vendors and taking place on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

This delightful cottage is perfect for families, friends, or groups of up to six people. It boasts a fully equipped kitchen with an induction plate, oven, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. Additionally, guests have free and unlimited access to the laundry room for all their washing and drying needs.

On the first floor, you'll find a spacious living room, a bedroom with a comfortable double bed measuring 160x200 cm and an additional single bed measuring 80x200 cm. There is also a shower room and a separate toilet for added convenience.

Moving up to the second floor, another charming bedroom awaits, featuring a double bed measuring 160x200 cm and a single bed measuring 80x200 cm.

Outside, the cottage offers a beautiful wooded garden and lovely terraces that provide stunning views of the Loire River. Guests can fully immerse themselves in their stay by taking advantage of the myriad of activities available in the region.
