This charming establishment is situated in a UNESCO World Heritage classified territory and offers a warm and authentic experience.

As you explore the property, you will be captivated by the peaceful atmosphere of the garden and terrace, which provide a fantastic view of the Loire River. After undergoing several months of renovation, the Lodging house of the Bargemen is ready to open its doors, boasting a carefully decorated interior that perfectly complements its surroundings.

The main house of the property consists of three guest houses, each uniquely decorated with attention to detail and imagination. Additionally, we offer a renovated holiday cottage, the Boatmen's Shelter, for those seeking a more independent stay.

Conveniently located near various amenities, you can easily walk to a range of restaurants, bars, and markets. The markets in Chalonnes-sur-Loire are particularly notable, with over a hundred vendors and taking place on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

During your stay, you can enjoy a variety of activities in Chalonnes-sur-Loire and its surroundings. Whether it's traditional canoeing or kayaking, boat trips on the Loire, cycling along the riverbanks, hiking, fishing, or even visiting the local outdoor vineyard swimming pool by a small train, there is something for everyone. Additionally, you can explore the exceptional cultural and natural attractions of Anjou, including castles, parks and gardens, cellars and tastings, villages, troglodytes, heritage sites, museums, zoos, and animal parks, as well as the stunning landscapes of the Loire.

To help plan your stay, we recommend visiting the websites of Anjou Tourism and Loire à Vélo.
