Description for B&B:
Welcome to Le Queyroix-Martin, a charming retreat nestled in the peaceful Monts de Blond region of rural Haute-Vienne. Debra and Graham have lovingly transformed a collection of converted barns into a delightful bed and breakfast, where tranquility and rejuvenation abound. Our five double bedrooms, each with en suite facilities, have been carefully crafted from the original 1883 apple and livestock barns. Indulge in table d'hôtes dining experiences, either in our dining room filled with original features or on the terrace, overlooking the garden, weather permitting.
Surrounded by lush chestnut and oak forests, our four-acre grounds, including the historic apple orchard, invite you to explore and unwind. Find a cozy spot to lose yourself in a good book, soak in the breathtaking views of the valley, and perhaps catch a glimpse of the roe deer that frequently graze amongst the trees.
For outdoor enthusiasts, the area offers an abundance of walking and cycling opportunities, with over 100 km of accessible tracks directly from our doorstep. Discover nearby towns and villages, many hosting vibrant weekly or fortnightly markets. The nearby Lac St Pardoux provides a refreshing escape for swimming and various water sports.
If you crave a touch of culture, venture to Limoges, just a 30-minute drive away, where museums, historic landmarks, art galleries, and world-renowned porcelain manufacturers await.
Reaching us is effortless, with regular flights from multiple UK airports to Limoges Bellegarde, only a short 20-minute drive from Le Queyroix-Martin. Other airports, such as Poitiers, Tours, Bergerac, and Bordeaux, are within a three-hour drive. Ryanair is also introducing a new route in 2014, flying to Brive, which is conveniently just an hour away. Alternatively, if traveling by train, Limoges is served by TGVs from Paris Gare Austerlitz. Even if you are not arriving by train, a visit to Limoges station (Gare Bénédictine) is worth it for its remarkable architecture. If driving, we are approximately eight hours from Calais, offering a choice of routes to avoid the infamous périphérique in Paris.
Whatever brings you to Le Queyroix-Martin, whether it be a stopover during a longer journey, an adventurous holiday, a relaxing weekend getaway, or a search for your dream home in the area, we eagerly await the opportunity to extend our warm and friendly hospitality. We can't wait to meet you.

Fabulous Chambre d'hote
Stayed here for 2 nights and can honestly say that it is one of the best places we have stayed. Graham and Debra put everything into making you feel at home. The rooms are super and very comfortable and clean. The food is exceptionally good and home made. Our evening meals and the company were the icing on the cake. Thank you both!

Beautiful, new rooms and affectionate atmosphere
During our travel through France, we lived in several Bed&Breakfast accomodations and this definitly was one of the best ones. The rooms are new and you can see and feel the passion and big ambition Debra and Graham put in their rooms to make them as comfortable as possible for their guests.
For the breakfast they bake their own Brioche and you can choose between several self made confitures.
We had great conversations with the owner, who gave us also good advices about the region and local events.
We are still thinking about our trip and won't forget!
