Description for B&B:

Gite Mont Joly is conveniently located just off the main road into Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, offering a sunny and picturesque setting. With a distance of only 800m from the village center, our charming gite is perfect for short breaks or longer vacations. We can accommodate up to 15 guests in rooms that cater to 2, 4, or 6-7 individuals. Optional breakfast is available for €7 per person (children under 5 are free), as well as a packed lunch for €7.

Our guests can enjoy mingling with fellow vacationers in our spacious dining room and cozy snug, or relax on the sunny patio. The communal kitchen is well-equipped, including complementary kitchen essentials and barbecues on the patio. Upon request, guests can also access the washing machine and dryer. We offer a ski locker in the basement (bike locker in the summer) and ample private parking outside. Baby essentials and children's toys are available upon request.

Saint Gervais is a charming and welcoming French town with numerous attractions nearby. Notable highlights include the Tramway du Mont Blanc, which departs from the village and reaches an altitude of 2380m, Les Thermes - the hot springs at Le Fayet, just a 15-minute walk through the woods from the gite, and the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area, the fourth largest in France, located only 1.5km from the gite. The village also offers a newly built swimming pool, ice rink (winter), and a variety of attractive walks starting from both the village and the nearby nature reserve in Les Contamines.

Description for Gite

You have the opportunity to rent the entire gite all year round, accommodating 15 guests in the summer and 22 guests in the winter. Except during the peak winter holidays (Christmas, New Year, and February/March school holidays), where the changeover day is on Saturdays, you can book our gite for less than 7 days. Similar to our Chambres d'hotes, the price includes all bedding.

Directions

If you are traveling by car or motorbike from Geneva, take the Autoroute Blanche until you reach Saint-Gervais-le Fayet. From there, follow the signs to Saint-Gervais-les-Bains. Keep an eye out for the restaurant called Le Four, which you will pass on a hairpin bend. Our building is located right after Le Four.

If you are coming from Megève by car or motorbike, drive through Saint Gervais and go under the Tramway du Mont Blanc bridge. You will find us 200m further along on the right-hand side.

For those traveling by train, the nearest station is Le Fayet. If you let us know in advance, we can arrange to pick up small groups from the station.

If you are arriving by air, the nearest airport is Geneva. We suggest renting a car, or if that's not possible, there are several companies in the region that offer transfer services, which can be arranged.
